Rules of Procedure Workshop

[PRESENCE NOT MANDATORY] The Rules of Procedure workshop helps unexperienced delegates to make themselves comfortable with the MUN-environment while providing some fresh-up for MUN-veterans.

Expert Panel Discussions

[PRESENCE MANDATORY] BayernMUNs Expert Panel usually takes place at the Opening Ceremony. By inviting renowed diplomat, scientist and politicans, we aim to inspire the delegates from the start, providing them critical expertise for their work in the committees.

Last year, we were honored to welcome on our 2025 Expert Panel:

  • Mr Dr. Ekkehard Griep (Vorsitzender der Deutschen Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen)

KeyNotes

[PRESENCE MANDATORY] BayernMUNs Closing Ceremony usually contains a KeyNote Speech by a renowned diplomat, scientist or politician to conclude the content framework and leave a lasting impression on the delegates.

Last year, we were honored to welcome: Mr Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Bielefeldt, former UN Special Envoy on Religion and Belief and former Professor at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU)

NEW! Hertie School x BayernMUN Social

[PRESENCE NOT MANDATORY BUT RECOMMENDED] On the first evening of the conference, after the last committee session of the day, the Hertie School x BayernMUN Social takes place. There is the chance to learn more about the exciting opportunities for studies available at one of the most renowned universities for international governance and diplomacy. Moreover, Delegates can connect among themselves, setting the stage for the Delegates on Saturday evening.

Delegates Dance

[PRESENCE NOT MANDATORY BUT RECOMMENDED] On Satuday Evening, the Delegates Dance will take place. This is the perfect opportunity to network, connect with fellow delegates or just have an amazing time. Entrance is included in the purchase of any ticket option, drinks need to be paid by the delegates.

[Disclaimer] For the different age groups the following rules apply:

  • 18+ free access to the Delegates Dance and alcohol
  • 16-17: Access only under teacher supervision + only until 0 am
  • <16: No option to participate in the Delegates Dance


Early-Arrival Program

Depending on demand, we will also organize an event on the morning of the first day of the conference (Friday) before the opening ceremony for delegations who arrive early and would like to learn more about Nurembergs history and significance as a city of human rights before the conference begins. During the 2024 edition of the conference the event took place at the famous „Saal 600“ in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice, where the Nuremberg war crimes trials took place.
